La section FIND (French Imaging Network in Mental Disorders) a été créée en décembre 2015, parrainée par l’AFPBN.

Elle provient de la volonté de rassembler des équipes françaises impliquées dans l’exploration en imagerie des troubles psychiatriques.

Le but de cette section est de promouvoir le développement de la recherche et des connaissances dans le domaine de l’imagerie cérébrale en psychiatrie.

Les membres de la section FIND se sont donnés un triple objectif à travers :

  • La diffusion des connaissances dans les domaines de l’exploration en imagerie cérébrale par des ouvrages réalisés par nos experts, des publications scientifiques de niveau international et la communication dans des congrès nationaux et européens.
  • La formation, en proposant une formation à destination des personnes dans des centres dépourvus d’un plateau technique important et souhaitant avoir recours à une expertise d’analyse et d’interprétation des données.
  • La recherche : la section FIND est à l’origine de la création d’un consortium de chercheur en imagerie, avec la mise à disposition d’une plateforme de partage et d’analyse de données d’imagerie.

La création du consortium FIND, rassemblant les chercheurs en neuro-imagerie des troubles psychiatriques, permet la mise en place d’études multicentriques à l’échelle de la France, ainsi que la mise à dispositions d’outils informatiques et de moyens humain, avec un haut niveau d’expertise.
